I get suspicious whenever I see a gadget “for women.” I can’t help it. Femtech is a minefield of promising ideas, concepts with borderline insulting execution, privacy concerns, and cheesy marketing. The worst is when a product leans too heavily on a stereotypically feminine design without addressing any of the health concerns specific to people with uteruses. I’d write off femtech completely if it weren’t for the fact that every once in a while I find a product I genuinely like….
