After a weekend of negotiations following the firing of Sam Altman from his position as OpenAI’s CEO, the company’s nonprofit board has named a new CEO: former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear will take over as interim OpenAI CEO from Mira Murati, who was publicly aligned with Altman. The news was first reported by The Information.
