The Jameel Dates Award, launched by Abdul Latif Jameel Motors and Community Jameel Saudi Foundation as a founding partner, is a prestigious annual initiative in the Al Qassim region. It recognizes excellence in date farming, honors dedicated farmers, and promotes sustainable agricultural practices to enhance overall quality standards.
In recognition of this achievement, the winner received the Jameel Dates Award trophy and the keys to the very first all-new 2027 Toyota Hilux, presented as the grand prize for agricultural excellence, reflecting the deep-rooted connection between the Toyota Hilux and the Kingdom’s agricultural sectors across generations.
The inaugural edition of the Jameel Dates Award focused on registered Sukkari date farms in the Al Qassim region. Participating farms underwent a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation process, which included laboratory testing of date samples, field visits, and assessments against defined technical and organizational standards set by a specialized technical committee to ensure objective evaluation and reliable results. This approach aims to honor outstanding practices and motivate farmers to elevate the quality and safety of date production, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of local produce and supporting the growth of the Kingdom’s date sector in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
All participating farms, which exceeded 50 registered farms, underwent independent and rigorous evaluations overseen by a team of technical experts to ensure integrity and merit-based criteria.
Shahad Nassier, Managing Director of Marketing Communications and Guest Intelligence, at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, said: “At Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, our role extends beyond providing efficient and diverse mobility solutions; it encompasses empowering local communities and supporting national initiatives, reflecting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
